When you search for a lift company in Bangalore, you meet three kinds of businesses that are often confused: manufacturers, installers and service companies. Knowing who does what helps you ask the right questions.
The three roles
| Role | Does | You should ask |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturer | Designs and makes lift equipment | What is the warranty and parts support? |
| Installer | Installs, tests and hands over | Who installs and who supervises? |
| Service company | Maintains under AMC and repairs | What is the response approach? |
One company or many?
Some companies do more than one role. Others specialise. What matters is that one party takes responsibility for your lift working. Ask who that is.
